Bill and Ted Face The Music To Once Again Feature Killer Future Robots

By Stephen Hewitt

Orion Pictures has released a sneak peak of the revamped evil Ted robot from Bill and Ted Face The Music due out in 2020.

Stars Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are returning to the roles that made them stars as Face The Music concludes the trilogy that includes Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989) and Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey (1991).

The focus of Bogus Journey featured evil lookalike robots from the future who time-travel to the past in order to kill the daft duo. The robots were defeated in the end but it looks like the new and improved automatons will be returning for the threequel.

Co-creators and screenwriters Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson have remained tightlipped about the details of the third film but seemed annoyed that the production art has already been released. Solomon seemed argumentative when presented with the art, “This isn’t from our film at all. Our film doesn’t even have killer robots. How did you get this number?”

We’ll see how Bill and Ted will face the music when the film is released in theaters on August 21, 2020.
