Ridley Scott Returns To Direct Unnamed, Unneeded, and Unwanted Third Alien Prequel Film

Ridley Scott will return to ruin the Alien movie franchise he started by directing yet another upcoming prequel film.

The G.I. Jane director recently spoke with Complex about revisiting the movie franchise he helped bring to life and continues to slowly kill. During the interview, Scott revealed that he plans to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the original Alien film by directing another unneeded prequel film. According to Variety, the movie is still in the “what can we do to fuck up this franchise even more” phase.

Scott returned to the Alien franchise with 2012 film Prometheus, a horribly mediocre prequel where every character in the film acts like a fucking moron no matter what their education or background. The film’s original screenplay, written by Jon Spaihts and called Alien: Engineers, was a brilliant take on the franchise before the script was horribly rewritten by Damon Lindelof.

Scott then went on to direct 2017’s Alien: Covenant, which was not only the biggest piece of crap of the Summer 2017 movie season, and the worst Alien film ever made, but also shit on nearly every plot point set up by Prometheus. Additionally the characters in the film had the mental capacities of six year olds without the slightest clue about standard operating procedures for exploring other planets.

Scott remains mum on the story of the upcoming prequel but titles being thrown around include Alien: The Ultimate Suckfest, Alien: POS, and Alien: Not Another One.
