First of all if you were thinking this is about Chuck the TV show…I’m sorry to disappoint you.

I really wanted to see Liev Schreiber’s Chuck in theaters.  Telling the story of Chuck Wepner was truly fascinating to me and I thought the trailer was very effective.

Problem?  IFC Films put it into like zero theaters.  When it finally came to my local theater I think it was gone within a week.  Just like that.  POOF.  And I live in the Tri-State area right near Philly where we always get most of these limited films.

My fault for not running right out to theater?  Probably.  Could they have put this on more screens for more than two seconds?  Yes they could.

So I’m not much for putting up press releases but since I’m madly excited to see this when it comes right into my living room I thought I’d post it up.  I’ll throw the trailer in and the press release below.  If you’ve seen the flick leave a comment.  I’m dying to hear what you thought of the film.
