Here’s the latest LET’S BADLY PLAY and in this latest episode I tackled Valis II for the TurboGrafx-16 CD.

I literally had zero clue about this game when I booted the game up. Well I put the game in the system, it didn’t start spinning, I did some laundry, came back, went to clean the cat litter, posted on Twitter, came back, started rearranging my graphic novels, and suddenly I heard some music. After TWENTY MINUTES my TurboGrafx-16 decided to work!!!

So I started playing Valis II for the first time and I was slightly impressed but slightly not impressed. I was actually astonished at how long I lasted through my playthrough though I will chock it up to really easy enemy bad guys. Well…enemy creatures. I have no clue what the hell they were.

After reading up I learned that Valis series actually had four games (well – five including some tentacle porn Valis game) which included Valis III for the TurboGrafx-16, Valis and Valis III for the Genesis, and Super Valis IV for the SNES. I think I’ll have to play some of these other Valis games to see how they stack up against this CD version.
